Richard H. Shinn, Ph.D.,
Founder CEO

He founded Augmented Brain Labs SA in 2022 in Geneva/Lausanne, Switzerland, to find a way to augment human intelligence with AI. His first experiment is to augment human player’s ability with AI to a significant degree so to win more games.

After he obtained a Ph.D. in AI from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1989, he founded AIBrain in Palo Alto, California, in 2013. AIBrain provides augmented AI in arts and sports, and Humanoid AI.

Marketing professional with broad experience in business development and people management; with my different teams, we have developed marketing strategies and deployed offers that contributed to innovation in the Telecom market.

Believing in the value of sharing experiences, I am looking for every opportunities to exchange about new ideas, industries and cultures.

Other personal interests include sailing and activities which can contribute to enrich people experience by discovery.

Soeren Maerki

Soeren hails from a football family: his brother played for BSC Young Boys and his father was briefly on the Swiss national team. After progressing through the Swiss youth system, he discovered his true passion for numbers and took a break from football. With an MA in Finance, he built a career in management consulting before moving into global sales and assuming the role of VP of Corporate Alliances. As part of the team, he has rekindled his love for football, focusing on applying AI to the sport. He is also the co-author of the highest-rated Udemy course on AI for Beginners, with the goal of making AI accessible to everyone.
